在赵心童与常冰玉所在的D组，赵心童均以3:0完胜常冰玉和加里·威尔逊，与马克·艾伦战至2:2平，同样以2胜1平列小组第一晋级。值得一提的是，在与常冰玉的较量中，赵心童打出单杆145分，刷新了个人职业生涯和本次比赛迄今的单杆最高分纪录。2022年斯诺克冠军联赛(排名赛版)是2022-2023赛季斯诺克的揭幕赛，比赛于6月28日-7月29日在莱切斯特举行，分为3个阶段：第一阶段128名球员分成32个小组进行单循环赛，各小组第一晋级第二阶段；第二阶段的32强分成8个小组，各小组第一晋级决赛阶段的八强赛。中国军团共有24人报名参加了这一赛事。在今年四月的斯诺克世锦赛正赛上遭遇一轮游后，中国台球领军人物丁俊晖已返回国内，缺席了此次比赛。在第一阶段赛中，中国军团7人成功突围。在第二阶段赛中，除分别与庞俊旭和赵心童同组的袁思俊、常冰玉遗憾出局外，其余5人悉数晋级。在本次大赛上，世界排名前三的奥沙利文、特鲁姆普和塞尔比相继折戟，特鲁姆普和塞尔比更是爆冷止步第一阶段。
